Staff of the Minister of Finance confirms Mahfud about Rp. 1,092 T for Papua, here are the details

The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) confirmed the statement by Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud Md that the government had spent thousands of trillions of special autonomy funds for Papua. The Ministry of Finance noted that since 2002 until now, the government has disbursed a total of Rp 1,092 trillion for the welfare of Papua.
This data was revealed by the Special Staff of the Minister of Finance for Strategic Communications Yustinus Prastowo through his Twitter account @prastow. He confirmed Mahfud's statement regarding Papuan funds.

"Prof @mohmahfudmd is right that the fiscal support for Papua and West Papua is quite large," Prastowo said in his tweet as seen by detikcom, Saturday (24/9/2022). Prastowo has allowed his tweet to be quoted.
 
Prastowo explained that the government had given Rp 1,092 trillion from 2002 to 2021. He detailed the total special autonomy and DTI funds provided by the government were Rp 138.65 trillion, TKDD was Rp 702.30 trillion, and ministry/institutional expenditures were Rp 251.29 trillion.

"During 2002-2021, Special Autonomy & DTI Funds reached Rp. 138.65 trillion, TKDD amounted to Rp. 702.30T, and K/L expenditures amounted to Rp. 251.29 trillion," he explained.
 
Mahfud's Data Questioned by Andi Arief

Previously, Mahfud Md admitted that he was upset because the Rp 1000.7 trillion fund disbursed by the government since the 2001 Special Autonomy Papua began until the Lukas Enembe era had not turned out to be anything. Chairman of the Election Winning Body (Bappilu) of the Democratic Party Andi Arief questioned the veracity of Mahfud Md.

"Mr. Prof. @mohmahfudmd is annoyed that the Special Autonomy fund of Rp. 1000.7 trillion for the Papuan people has lagged behind/corrupted development. Andi Arief said, based on data from the Minister of Finance, the funds provided by the government for Special Autonomy in Papua were only Rp 138.5 trillion. He said Mahfud was impressed by pitting the people against the leaders in Papua.

"The data from the Minister of Finance totals Rp. 138.5 trillion, including additional infrastructure funds. For 2 provinces, Papua/West Papua. Wrong data? The impression is that people are fighting with Papuan leaders, please correct me if I have wrong data," he said.
