The Alleged Money Flow of the Governor of Papua (LE) to Casinos is Increasingly Sticking

Allegations of misappropriation of the money flow of the Governor of Papua Lukas Enembe (LE) are getting clearer, after the appointment of LE as a suspect in a corruption case, more information is circulating among Papuan elites and the public. As a native Papuan, and at the same time a Papuan observer, I feel grateful that an issue has surfaced among the public regarding the misappropriation of governor funds that were channeled to casinos or gambling houses.

I myself have known about this misappropriation of funds since 2017, cases of gratification carried out by people around LE must also be investigated, not only LE. Many Papuan officials and elites use Otsus funds, such as the words "Otsus in Papua, Development Outside Papua", many of their assets are stored in Java, Bali, Sulawesi, and Kalimantan.

And they justify all means to stop their case, even they use the power of groups both the community and the TPN-OPM group when they are about to be arrested.

Currently LE is designated as a suspect and will be investigated by the KPK, and they pay people from certain indigenous groups to be used as shields so that LE is not investigated. With the KPK's action against LE, the Papuan people from the grassroots appreciate it very much, because their hopes and prayers are for all the corruptors in Papua to be eliminated.

They have been suffering for more than 20 years with Otsus, which is expected only to hear their voices, while money, development and other welfare are only lullabies. As an observer of Papua, I believe that together with the community, religious youth, women, and all components of society, we will support the KPK in arresting corruptors and their cronies.
