Jayapura Regency Government: Breeders are ready to supply meat and eggs for the KMAN event

The District Government (Pemkab) of Jayapura, Papua Province through the local Plantation and Livestock Service said that the farmers in the region were ready to supply beef and chicken eggs during the VI Congress of Indigenous Peoples of the Archipelago (KMAN) VI.

Head of the Jayapura Regency Plantation and Livestock Service, Sambodo Samiyana, in a press release received by Antara in Jayapura, Wednesday, said that beef and chicken eggs were ensured to support consumption services for KMAN participants in the region.

"The availability of beef and chicken eggs is sufficient so that the implementation of KMAN and their breeders are ready to supply meat and eggs," he said.

According to Samiyana, the production of chicken eggs in a day can reach 14 thousand eggs so that the amount can meet consumption needs.

"Then for beef we will prepare five cows a day to be slaughtered," he said.

He explained that his party has also coordinated with the Association of Livestock Business Actors (HPUP) of Jayapura Regency as the party that supplies beef and chicken eggs.

"Of course we will provide services in terms of supporting the best consumption for KMAN participants," he said again.

The implementation of KMAN will take place on October 24, 2022 at the Barnabas Youwe Stadium, Sentani and according to the plan the congress will be opened by President Joko Widodo.
