10 Jayapura villages become smart village pilot projects

A total of 10 villages in Jayapura Regency will become pilot projects for smart villages in Papua Province.

Head of the Jayapura District Communication and Informatics Service Gustaf Griapon in Sentani, Wednesday, said that the 10 villages already have their own websites to ensure there are no blank spots.

"So telecommunications services in the 10 villages are running smoothly and in each village there is already a Pace-Mace Admin Information and Communication Technology or Lighter community," he said.

According to Gustaf, digital ambassadors from the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia will provide assistance to the 10 villages.

"Where the 10 villages will socialize the advantages of each village," he said.

He explained that the socialization would take place from 24 to 25 November 2022 at the Jayapura Regency Regent's Office.

He added that his party would continue to push for internet services in the 10 villages which were pilot projects so that telecommunication access would be even better.

The 10 villages that are pilot projects for smart villages in Papua are Nalokla Village, Asei Besar, Nendali, Yoboi, Doyo Lama, Sosiri, Benyom Jaya I, Necheibe, Yongsu Dosoyo and Tablasupa Village.
